We stayed with our dance team on February 3rd and I accidentally left my iPhone and watch charging station in the room when I checked out on Saturday. I called Saturday night when I realized I was gone. I spoke to the man working the front desk and he assured me that he would be sure to contact housekeeping early in the morning as we still have team members who can return it when they leave Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I still hadn't heard anything so I called again. This time I had to leave a message for the family. I have left several different messages and none have been returned. I called again today (a week later) and told the girl at the front desk that she had called multiple times about this and never received a response or request to call me back. She said "well it was never delivered". When I asked her why they never reply to my messages, she didn't reply at all. I have no doubt that someone kept it, what I left behind is my fault. But the fact that not a single message has ever bounced is extremely frustrating. If it wasn't for this incident, I would have given them 4 stars. The room was beautiful, the check-in staff on the night of February 3 was fantastic. But this left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not be staying here again.

The hotel is located in downtown Topeka near Brown vs. Kansas State Capitol and Board of Education National Historic Site. I was lucky because parking was free on the streets of Topeka on the weekends. The staff was very helpful, giving me local recommendations and even bringing me a tub of ice (it was very hot when I was there). My room was large and frankly quite luxurious. The shower in particular was spectacular. I don't know if I'll ever have the pleasure of staying in Topeka again, but when I do, this will be my destination.

The Ramada was kind to our group because we were staying there the same weekend as a large convention. If you are looking for a place to stay close to downtown Topeka for yourself or a large group of people, I would recommend this place because it has great service and you can walk to downtown Topeka. The only thing I would prefer is for the basement restaurant and bar to be open, but they said they couldn't due to lack of traffic.

We stayed one night for a family wedding close to town. It was a great stay for the price. It was a great hot and cold breakfast. There was a lot of coffee around. The rooms were clean and spacious. I would stay here again.
