Alcudia beach is located in the north of Mallorca, a few kilometers from Port d'Alcudia and near the medieval town of Alcudia. Playa de Alcudia is a white sand beach and is one of the prestigious Blue Flag beaches on the island. This almost 3.5 km long beach has something for everyone.
Alcudia beach is family friendly and popular with locals and tourists alike. There are showers, toilets, changing rooms, a special children's playground and many water sports such as kayaking, paddle surfing, SUP and much more. Here you can also rent sun loungers and umbrellas. Many shops, restaurants, cafes and accommodation, as well as the local tourist office, are located here close to the beach. There is a walkway with shaded areas which makes it wheelchair accessible and easier for the disabled and elderly. Alcudia beach also has a lifeguard.
In Alcudia, the beach water is very clean and generally calm, but waves from the north can occasionally arise, so it is important to monitor the water conditions. Alcudia beach is not a party beach, although bars and restaurants are open at night.
Alcudia beach is easily accessible by car following the signs from Port d'Alcudia. It has a large and free parking. Alcudia Beach has a tourist bus station and public transport with connections from nearby towns.
